The script from the 5pm:
Nancy: There's a new "attraction" in northeast Fresno that's sure to lead to a few jokes but could ultimately save lives.
Warren: A giant inflatable colon is on display at Fresno's Cancer Care center. The twenty-foot interactive colon teaches people about the symptoms, prevention and treatment for colorectal cancer -- the second leading cancer killer in the U.S. If detected early, patients have a 90 percent survival rate.
Dr. Jedidiah Monson: Unfortunately in America only about 10 percent of patients of the general population complies with having a screening colonoscopy, which could save their lives.
VO: Doctors recommend colonoscopies for men and women every 10 years starting at the age of 50.
